ShakeFit Support

Support for ShakeFit is provided by the company that makes it, not by Apple or Google. ShakeFit runs on iOS and on Android, and this page covers both.

Contact

Email: contact@shakefit.app
We aim to answer within 3 business days.

Writing from the same address you use for the store you bought from makes it easier to match a purchase to a request, but it is not required.

What to include

A short report is usually enough. These four things save a round trip:

Device and OS	for example, iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 18.5, or Galaxy S24 on Android 15
App version	Profile, then the version at the bottom of the screen
What you did	the track and the moment it went wrong
What happened	and what you expected instead

Screen recordings help for anything about rep counting or grading. Video you record stays with you, we never receive camera footage from the app.

Subscriptions, refunds and cancellation

ShakeFit Plus is billed by the store you installed the app from, not by us, so cancellation and refunds go through that store. Where the app offers the subscription, it links to the right place from Profile.

iOS, billed by Apple:

Cancel: iPhone Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
Refund: reportaproblem.apple.com

Android, billed by Google:

Cancel: Google Play app, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Refund: request through Google Play, in the order history for your Google Account. We can also ask Google to refund an order, so write to us if you think a refund is due from us.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. A subscription is held by the store you bought it from, so it does not carry across from iOS to Android.

Signing in

Workouts remain available without signing in. Where enabled, optional sign-in offers completion counts from other devices and progress backup with explicit restore. Optional community enrollment lets you join friend circles; public leagues require a separate choice. Available sign-in providers depend on the configured platform release.

There is no password, so there is none to forget or reset. If you lose access to the Apple or Google account itself, recover it with that provider.
Signing in gives us the email address held by that provider. With Sign in with Apple you can choose Hide My Email, and we then receive Apple's private relay address instead. Either way we do not use the address to contact you. The privacy policy explains what happens to it.
A subscription is tied to the store you bought from, not to signing in, so signing in neither carries a subscription across platforms nor is needed to restore one.

Deleting your data

You do not need to contact us to delete your records. In the app: Profile, then Data, then Delete all records. That clears what is on the device and asks the server to delete what it holds, including the account itself, whether it is anonymous or created by signing in.

If the server part does not complete, the app offers to delete on the device only and tells you so. In that case write to contact@shakefit.app and we will remove the server copy within 30 days of confirming the request.

Deleting your records does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that with the store you bought from, as described above.

Safety

ShakeFit is a fitness and entertainment product. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not give medical advice. Exercise carries risk. Consult a qualified professional before starting a new routine, and stop if you feel pain or dizziness.

Optional community (next release)

Choose a nickname before joining. Only observed camera movement minutes and active days are shared; guided sessions and lessons do not count, and scores/health data are not public. Use Report or Block on a member row. Reports show a receipt and processing status. We aim to respond within the existing three-business-day support window. The nickname filter is not perfect; report abuse through the app or contact contact@shakefit.app.

Leave community removes your community profile, groups and shared activity; local workouts and progress backup remain. A moderation restriction can remain until account deletion. Offline leave requests remain pending until the server confirms. Deleting only device data does not remove server participation: sign in to leave community, delete your account, or contact support.
